RESUMEN

The stochastic nonlinear Schrödinger model (SNLSM) in (1+1)-dimension with random potential is examined in this paper. The analysis of the evolution of nonlinear dispersive waves in a totally disordered medium depends heavily on the model under investigation. This study has three main objectives. Firstly, for the SNLSM, derive stochastic precise solutions by using the modified Sardar sub-equation technique. This technique is efficient and intuitive for solving such models, as shown by the generated solutions, which can be described as trigonometric, hyperbolic, bright, single and dark. Secondly, for obtaining numerical solutions to the SNLSM, the algorithms described here offer an accurate and efficient technique. Lastly, investigate the phase plane analysis of the perturbed and unperturbed dynamical system and the time series analysis of the governing model. The results show that the numerical and analytical techniques can be extended to solve other nonlinear partial differential equations in physics and engineering. The results of this study have a significant impact on how well we comprehend how solitons behave in physical systems. Additionally, they may serve as a foundation for the development of improved numerical techniques for handling challenging nonlinear partial differential equations.

RESUMEN

The fractional coupled Konno-Onno model, which is frequently used in numerous fields of scientific and engineering disciplines, is being investigated in the current study in order to gain an understanding of complex phenomena and systems. The two main goals of this study are to be accomplished. Firstly, the research aims to identify novel solitons for the fractional coupled Konno-Onno model using the unified technique, which is currently absent from the literature. Secondly, a novel strategy that hasn't been previously investigated is phase portrait analysis for both perturbed and non-perturbed dynamical systems. The current study uses appropriate parametric values in phase plane analysis, 2D, 3D, and density plots to ensure the results are physically compatible. The results validate the claim that the technique used in this research to produce complete and uniform responses is not only simple to use and effective, but also substantially faster in computing. The technique is useful for resolving more complex phenomena that arise in engineering and mathematical physics.

OBJECTIVE: To determine the effects of blood from CML patients on human umbilical cord derived Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stem cells (WJMSCs) for evaluation of their therapeutic potential. STUDY DESIGN: An experimental study. PLACE AND DURATION OF STUDY: Centre for Research in Molecular Medicine, University of Lahore, from September 2013 to December 2014. METHODOLOGY: Possible behavior of WJMSCs in CMLpatients was assessed by culturing these cells in their plasma. WJMSCs at passage 3 were cultured in plasma isolated from 9 CMLpatients as well as 9 normal subjects. Effects on cell viability, proliferation, LDH release, paracrine factors (p38 and p53) and oxidative stress were evaluated. RESULTS: WJMSCs cultured in plasma of CML patients showed decreased viability, slow proliferation, high LDH release, high expression of p38 and p53 and a high oxidative stress compared to normal subjects. CONCLUSION: Stressed environment of CML patients' blood/plasma induced injury to WJMSCs as well as reduced their viability. Effectiveness of these cells for therapeutics of CML is, therefore, likely to be reduced.

Stomal cells derived from Wharton's jelly of human umbilical cord (WJMSCs) are considered as the potential therapeutic agents for regeneration and are getting famous for stem cell banking. Our study aims to evaluate the effects of gestational diabetes on proliferation capacity and viability of WJMSCs. Mesenchymal stromal cells were isolated from Wharton's jelly of human umbilical cords from normal and gestational diabetic (DWJMSCs) mothers. Growth patterns of both types of cells were analyzed through MTT assay and population doubling time. Cell survival, cell death and glucose utilization were estimated through trypan blue exclusion assay, LDH assay and glucose detection assay respectively. Angiogenic ability was evaluated by immunocytochemistry and ELISA for VEGF A. Anti-cancerous potential was analyzed on HeLa cells. DWJMSCs exhibited low proliferative rate, increased population doubling time, reduced cell viability and increased cell death. Interestingly, DWJMSCs were found to have a reduced glucose utilization and anti-cancerous ability while enhanced angiogenic ability. Gestational diabetes induces adverse effects on growth, angiogenic and anti-cancerous potential of WJMSCs.

The astonishing development of broad genomics and proteomics tools have catalyzed a new era in both therapeutic interventions and nutrition in prostate cancer. The terms pharmacogenomics and nutrigenomics have been derived out of their genetic forbears as large-scale genomics technologies have been established in the last decade. It is unquestionable that rationale of both disciplines is to individualize or personalize medicine and food and nutrition, and eventually health, by tailoring the drug or the food to the individual genotype. The purpose of this review is to significantly inspect results from current research concerning the mechanisms of action of phytonutrients and potential effects on prostate cancer. Substantial emerging data supports the synergistic adiministration of nutraceuticals with TRAIL in prostate cancer progression to circumvent TRAIL refractoriness. Nonetheless, developing novel scientific methods for discovery, validation, characterization and standardization of these multicomponent phyto-therapeutics is vital to their recognition into mainstream medicine. The key to interpret a personalized response is a greater comprehension of nutrigenomics, proteomics and metabolomics.
